Terms of use

The terms that apply to using this site and to ordering custom-made products from GraphicATZ.

Last updated:

01 General

This site is operated by GraphicATZ, a laser engraving, cutting and printing studio based in Israel.

Using the site — browsing the catalogue, using the design editor or placing an order — means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the site at the moment you place your order.

This English text is provided for convenience. In the event of a discrepancy, the Hebrew version prevails.

02 Who may order

Orders may be placed by anyone aged 18 or over with the legal capacity to enter a contract, or by a person authorised to act for a company, nonprofit, school or synagogue.

If you order on behalf of an institution, it is your responsibility to confirm you are authorised to commit that institution to the purchase.

03 The products are made to order

Most products on this site are manufactured individually from details you supply: wording, names, a logo, dimensions and material. These are custom-made goods, not stock items.

Product photographs are illustrative. Wood, brass, stone and acrylic vary in tone, grain and texture between one piece and the next. Such variation is not a defect.

Colours on screen may differ from the finished item, partly because of screen calibration and partly because of how the material behaves. In laser engraving the result is the colour of the material itself after burning, not a colour added on top.

04 The editor, proof approval and finality

The design editor shows a preview of your product before you order. It is there to show the position, size and proportion of your design within the printable or engravable area.

The wording, spelling, vowel marks, dates and dimensions shown in the preview when you approve the order are what goes to production. Checking them carefully before payment is your responsibility.

Once the proof is approved and payment is made, the order goes to production and cannot be changed. On memorial, dedication and award work we also read the wording ourselves as an added service, and we will contact you before production if something looks wrong. That check is a goodwill service and does not shift responsibility for the wording.

05 Files and rights in what you upload

You confirm that you own the rights to every file, logo, image, emblem, font or text you upload, or that you are properly licensed to use them for this order.

You grant us a limited licence to use those materials solely to produce your order, check its quality, and print or engrave it.

We will not produce an order containing infringing, offensive, racist, misleading or unlawful content. We may refuse or cancel such an order even after payment, in which case the payment is refunded.

You are responsible for any third-party claim relating to the materials you supply.

06 Prices and payment

Prices are in Israeli new shekels and include VAT as required by law unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout.

The binding price is the one shown at checkout when you complete the order. We may change prices from time to time; a change does not apply to orders already paid for.

Payment is processed by an external payment provider. Full card details are never stored on our systems.

An obvious and evident pricing error on the site is not a binding offer. In that case we will contact you, show the correct price, and let you choose between completing the order and cancelling it for a full refund.

07 Production and delivery times

Production time varies with the method, material and quantity, and is shown on each product page. It is counted from proof approval and payment, and does not include shipping time.

If your order is tied to a date — an awards evening, a building dedication, the start of the school year — contact us before ordering so we can tell you whether it is realistic.

We are not responsible for delays outside our control, including raw material shortages at suppliers, equipment failure, strikes, security situations or courier delays. We will notify you promptly of any material delay.

08 Cancellation, returns and warranty

Cancellation, returns and warranty are set out in a separate document — the shipping and returns page — which forms part of these terms. Note in particular that goods made specifically for you cannot be cancelled under Israeli consumer protection regulations.

09 Limitation of liability

Our liability in any case is limited to the amount actually paid for the relevant order.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damage, including lost profit, reputational harm or costs arising from a missed event date.

We work to keep the site and the editor available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.

10 Intellectual property in the site

The design, text, photographs, marks and code on this site belong to us or to our licensors and may not be used without written permission.

Copying, reproducing, scraping or redistributing site content for commercial purposes is not permitted.

11 Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any engagement under them are governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel.

Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute lies with the competent courts of the Tel Aviv district.
